The top 10 EVs coming your way in 2025
Christmas has come early for fleet operators with a wealth of new models being revealed that could be joining choice lists in 2025.
Here is a countdown of the top 10 models that fleet managers can look forward to unboxing in the New Year - and we’ll be offering great leasing deals on them all.
10 Cupra Tavascan
Cupra models may be based on Volkswagen underpinnings, but they benefit from their relative scarcity on the road – around 2,000 having been sold in 2024.
This means the Tavascan, Cupra's second electric model after the Born, is likely to be eye-catchingly rare.
Its Lamborghini-like looks sit on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, powered by a 77kWh battery and a 286PS electric motor for a 0-62mph time of 5.6 seconds.
Drive more gently and the official range is 341 miles for the single motor variant and 321 miles for the all-wheel drive version.

9. Audi A6 e-tron
With nearly 500 miles of range, the Audi A6 is a perfect executive express that comes packed with performance and features.
The fastback model, called Sportback, comes in two versions at launch - Performance and S6, with a rear-wheel drive model and Quattro range-topper to follow.
All launch models will be offered with a 100kWh battery that can be fast-charged to provide nearly 200 miles of range in 10 minutes.
Audi’s MMI display creates a virtual cockpit and entertainment zone, which is now extended to provide services on the passenger side.
There are practical elements too, such as 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats in both the Sportback and Avant estate variants.

8 Hyundai Inster
Hyundai’s budget-friendly EV comes with two powertrain options.
A base model offers a 42kWh battery and 203 miles of range, while a 49kWh battery variant has a more powerful motor and can cover 229 miles between charges, based on official tests.
The Inster is small, yet practical, with a spacious interior and seats that can all fold flat to turn the car into a home for the night. Or a van for carrying stuff around.
It comes with a 10.25-inch instrument panel and similarly sized infotainment touchscreen.

7 Smart #5
The Smart #5 is the third model in Smart's expanding line-up and its largest car.
The SUV Smart #5 will come with a 100kWh battery that will provide more than 350 miles of range along with ultra-fast recharging capability for 15-minute fill-ups.
Interior features include a pair of 13-inch infotainment screens, along with a smaller digital instrument cluster and a head-up display.
There is also nearly 2,000 litres of space in the boot and front trunk.
Designed by Smart parent company Mercedes-Benz, it introduces new options for the brand, such as a roof light bar, an electric towbar, side steps and side ladder to make it really stand out in the company car park.

6 Skoda Elroq
The Skoda Elroq is the manufacturer’s first compact all-electric SUV, combining a fresh design with practicality and advanced technology.
Depending on the Elroq model chosen, range varies from 230 to 360 miles, based on official tests, backed by rapid charging capability for half-hour recharges.
Battery choices range from 55kWh to 82kWh, offering plenty of options to compete with the Ford Explorer, Hyundai Kona and Kia Niro.

5 Ford Capri
Ford has courted controversy by bringing back the famous Capri name, once the much-loved transport of Bodie and Doyle from The Professionals, in an electric SUV.
However, the mid-sized model brings a fresh look to the fleet car park and offers the confidence of using the tried and tested MEB platform for partner Volkswagen.
With an exterior design that sets it apart from the crowd and its more boxy cousin, the Explorer, it comes with a 14.6-inch touchscreen and Ford’s latest Sync software.
Battery choices are a 55kWh unit, 77kWh and 79kWh variants, offering up to 346 miles of official range.

4 Volvo EX90
Volvo’s flagship electric SUV promises nearly 400 miles of range from its 111kWh battery along with a wealth of space and comfort.
Monthly leasing will reduce the cashflow shock of a potential £100,000-plus price tag.
This pays for world-class safety in addition to the EX90’s seven seats, loads of flexible configuration options, 750 litres of luggage space including the front trunk, and 2.2 tonnes of towing capacity.
The powertrain uses a pair of electric motors to deliver 408PS and, depending on the model, a 0-62mph time of 4.9 seconds.
As you would expect for the price, there is loads of new technology, including the capability to take over driving and slow the car to a safe stop if the driver becomes ill, or falls asleep.

3 Kia EV3
While some early orders may get their Kia before Christmas, the majority will be getting behind the wheel in 2025.
Kia is a dominant force in EVs, so there is much to expect from the compact SUV, which will come with two battery sizes. A standard range model uses a 58kWh battery, while the Long Range variant has 81kWh of energy on tap, good for up to 372 miles according to official figures.
The new EV3 provides an entry point to the Kia EV range, which includes the EV6 and EV9.
While the EV3 is the smallest model in the range, it still comes with a 25-litre front trunk and 460-litres of boot space, making it the largest luggage carrier in its class.

2 MINI Aceman
The MINI Aceman is an electric-only model that keeps the spirit of the brand alive for a new era.
Fitting between the MINI Hatch and the Countryman, the design is classic Mini, despite the transformation underneath.
It comes with two battery options, the E (42kWh) and SE (54kWh), while three trims offer varying levels of specification and performance.
The MINI Aceman E can cover up to 192 miles on a single charge, officially, while the Aceman SE can achieve 252 miles under the same test conditions.
Despite its diminutive proportions, it will carry five in relative comfort, with 300 litres of space in the boot for luggage.
