New Toyota Yaris range announced for 2025

The candles have been blown out, the cake has been eaten, and the empty champagne bottles have gone in the recycling bin. It may have recently marked its 25th birthday but that’s no excuse for sitting on its laurels. Fresh from the celebrations, the 2025 Toyota Yaris is proving once again that staying at the top of the pile is an exercise in constant improvement and innovation.

The latest Toyota Yaris line-up features an enhanced GR Sport grade and stylish new options for its 2025 model year without sacrificing any of the class-leading efficiency and safety that has made it such a success in the small hatchback segment.

Since its debut in 1999, the Toyota Yaris has been a benchmark in the world of small hatchbacks, its practicality and performance a reflection of Toyota’s “big small” philosophy.

The Yaris has accumulated more than 10 million global sales and a host of industry awards over the last 25 years, all thanks to its spacious interior, purposeful styling, and pioneering adoption of new technology such as the full hybrid power found in today’s models.

An agile compact car ideally suited to modern urban life

The Yaris has proven quality, exceptional efficiency and fun-to-drive dynamics. No wonder the multiple award-winning Yaris is consistently one of Toyota’s best-selling models in Europe.

And it’s held on to that position by not being afraid to move with the times.

Toyota’s latest version of the fourth generation Yaris will enter production in February 2025 with the full range and specification details to be announced closer to the launch date.

So, while we may not be able to tell you a whole lot about the new 2025 range, we can confirm a few of the details that may be worth bearing in mind should you be thinking of leasing yourself a Toyota Yaris in the next few months.

One thing that hasn’t changed is the dual hybrid option to meet the needs of the driver. Toyota’s 1.5-litre full hybrid system remains in the new Yaris, offering a choice of either 114bhp or 129bhp from the ultra-efficient powertrain setup. While neither option is lacking performance in either power or environmental considerations, offering a choice of engine configurations gives you a wider range of reasons to choose to lease a new Yaris.

While not much has changed in terms of looks, the 2025 Yaris lineup does include a new Forest Green paint option that can be specified as either a monotone finish or in combination with the contrasting black roof.

You can also benefit from the latest technologies as well as stylish design

The latest generation of the Yaris will boast the most up-to-date Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance systems to make the car safer, easier to drive and park. The updated interior will also include a customisable driver’s instrument display and a powerful multimedia system with display screens of up to 10.5 inches in size depending on model specification.

And if you want the ultimate performance from your new lease car, look no further than the improved specification in the phenomenal Toyota GR Yaris.

Three years after first blowing the competition away, the new Yaris GR Sport features exterior and interior styling updates that further embody the spirit of Gazoo Racing, Toyota’s multiple championship-winning motorsport team.

Exterior looks have been enhanced with the option of a new model-exclusive colour, Storm Grey, which will be offered on the 2025 Yaris GR Sport as either a monotone or bi-tone finish. The new model will also feature newly-designed 18-inch matt-finish alloy wheels that should complement the new model regardless of your choice of colour.

The stylish interior has also been refined with contrasting red stitching and gun metal grey accents around the cabin. To further highlight the racing pedigree of the GR Yaris, 2025 models will also introduce an embossed GR Sport logo on the headrests for an even more sport-focussed feel.

Rest assured, when the full details of the new Toyota Yaris range are revealed closer to the time we will be sure to let you know. In the meantime, we can pretty much guarantee that after being at the top for 25 years the new Yaris range is only going to be better than the last.
