New Lex Autolease Caura app to help manage your car during its lease

The vehicle funder Lex Autolease has released a new app called Caura that is designed to help Gateway2Lease customers manage their vehicle during the period of their lease.

The Caura app is only available to those customers who have their vehicles funded through Lex Autolease on a Personal Contract Hire agreement.

The app has already proven popular with Gateway2Lease customers who have downloaded the app and are starting to manage their car through Cauara.

So what’s so good about Caura?

The Caura app allows customers to manage their vehicle from their phone, while at the end of the lease period offering special deals that are only available through the Caura app to be supplied through Gateway2Lease.

The app covers:

• Keeping the vehicle compliant – ensuring MOT, VED and insurance is all up to date, as well as being able to shop for insurance.
  
  
• Enabling vehicle maintenance – Allows our customers to book their car into 6,500 garages across the UK including most main dealers for routine servicing.
  
  
• Managing daily driving fees – this includes city charges (such as the London Congestion Charge), toll roads, and airport drop off charges. Later in 2025, Lex Autolease says it will also provide management of UK parking charges.

At the end of the lease period, customers can expect to receive a special offer only available to Caura app users for their next vehicle, or if that’s not suitable they can discuss alternative options with a Gateway2Lease leasing expert.

“We’ve been very encouraged by the reaction of our customers to the Caura app,” says Operations Director of Gateway2Lease, Rob Marshall.

“The takeup has been really good and I hope our customers find the app useful. We’re very encouraged by the functionality of the app and the greater control and efficiency it brings to personal leasing customers.”

According to Lex Autolease a mileage tracker will be introduced later this year, enabling contract mileage adjustments - both up and down - by the customer as part of the app’s continuous development program.
