Kia tops latest dealer charts

Leasing your new car makes a lot more sense than going to a dealer and buying it. Obviously we’re going to say that, but either way you still want to know you’re choosing a good car from a reputable manufacturer. Which is why you’ll never hear us tell you not to choose a Kia, and why Kia has just been voted the UK’s top brand in the latest National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) Survey.
This is the fourth consecutive time Kia has been ranked by UK dealers as the best franchise, and that’s off the back of a string of top-three finishes in the preceding 17 surveys.
So, it would appear that Kia is not only popular with drivers but it has also developed a pretty solid reputation with dealers too.
Kia scored 9.3 out of 10 to clinch top spot in the latest survey, a slight increase on the 9.2 it achieved when it topped the last one. And to put that into some sort of context, the average overall score across all brands was 6.7 out of 10. Kia is clearly doing a lot of things very well at the moment.
Sue Robinson, Chief Executive of the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA), said: “NFDA congratulates Kia, who once again stood out as a leader in the survey, achieving top scores across multiple categories, including the overall manufacturer rating with an impressive score of 9.3, marking a slight increase from the last edition.”
Kia has gone from strength-to-strength in the UK, having most recently published record-breaking September results with 92,400 cars sold year-to-date, and the family-focused Sportage SUV the UK’s most popular model for the month. The Sportage is also currently sitting in second place year-to-date, and it really wouldn’t be a huge surprise if it comes out on top at the end of the year.
It's not just the Kia Sportage that’s proving popular either.
We told you recently that the new Kia EV3 has been voted Car of the Yar by Electrifying.com, as well as making it to the final shortlist for European car of the year. It’s now also been voted Crossover of the year by TopGear.com, and this year’s Scottish Car of the Year Awards saw Kia take the title of ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ alongside the EV9 winning ‘Large EV of the Year’.
With a wide range of stylish and well-equipped models to suit almost every driver, Kia is determined to not stay as the fourth most popular brand in the UK for long.
It really doesn’t matter if you’re looking to lease an EV, a hybrid, or an old-fashioned petrol engine we've got a Kia worth considering. From the Picanto to the Sorento, the award-winning EV3 to the equally award-winning EV9, whether it’s a city car, a crossover, an estate or hatchback, or a full-size SUV.
A former motoring journalist turned farmer (yes, the incredibly tall one) once said, “there’s never really a good reason not to buy a Ford.”
Well, that was then and this is now. And right now, there is no reason whatsoever why your next lease car shouldn’t be a Kia.
