If your business is thinking about switching to electric then take a look at Kia's latest electric car, the EV6. It's just been awarded the outright Car of the Year prize in the What Car? 2022 Awards. Also picking up Electric SUV of the Year title, the EV6 is only the second electric car to win the overall title, after the Kia e-Niro won the 2019 award.

The prestigious What Car? Awards voted the Kia EV6 outright winner following its launch towards the end of 2021. Built on a new platform from the Hyundai-Kia Group, the EV6 benefits from an architecture tailored specifically for electric powertrains.

As such, the Kia has a range of up to 328 miles available from its 77.4 kWh battery, and is available in a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. Model specifications include Air, GT-Line, and GT-Line S, with a performance focused GT due later on in 2022.

The impressive range is supported by ultra-rapid charging that can see drivers top up to 80% in just 18 minutes from the fastest chargers around.

Made up from the publications road-test team, the What Car? judging panel commented: “The EV6 combines a huge real-world range with the ability to charge at speeds that no rival can keep up with, addressing two of the biggest concerns that people still have about electric cars.

“What's more, by using bespoke electric underpinnings rather than a set that's shared by petrol and diesel models, Kia has been able to take advantage of the compact size of electric motors and produce a car that's hugely spacious and practical.”

Driver benefit-in-kind taxation starts from just £164 a year for the 2022/23 tax year.

We have a range of EV6 models ready to lease with rentals starting from £339.88 + VAT per month.
