The Electrified GV70 has been launched by Genesis and the Duke of Richmond at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022.

Set to be a popular choice with business leasing customers, the all-electric SUV made its European debut at the event, and is likely to have a range of more than 310 miles on a single charge.

Power is rated at 480hp, with all-wheel drive made possible by twin electric motors - one on each axle. The performance time is likely to be just over four seconds for the 0-62mph sprint.

High-power charging is possible thanks to the 800V system underpinning the electric powertrain. This means that a 10-80% charge on a 350 kW DC charger will take less than 20 minutes.

Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging is also possible, which enables users to connect a three-pin plug to the vehicle's charging inlet and power just about anything that has a fitted domestic plug.

Sharing the same design and interior as the Genesis GV70, the premium mid-sized SUV will sit above the GV60 in the Korean manufacturer's line-up.

Pricing and specifications will be announced closer to the Electrified GV70's launch, expected to be early in 2023.
