More space, more comfort, more efficiency, and more safety. Sounds good, doesn’t it? If you’re wondering what car to choose for your next lease car that would probably be a tick in all of the boxes that are important to you. If that’s the case, the all-new Skoda Superb Estate could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Skoda’s flagship model is now entering its fourth generation of the modern era. The all-new Superb boasts increased dimensions for additional space, updated looks and design features, a wide range of new technology, improved efficiency, and a choice of six powertrain options.

Skoda has refined the design of the new Superb Estate to reflect its flagship status at the top of the model range. It has not only grown in size to create an even more spacious interior, but it’s also improved aerodynamic efficiency, and introduced new design features.

The all-new Superb Estate comes with a striking, new octagonal grille design finished in Unique Dark Chrome. The same dark chrome finish also features on the bonnet logo, front apron trim strips, and tailgate lettering. It also features Skoda’s second-generation LED Matrix lights and slimmed down LED tail lights. Other modifications include a more steeply raked windscreen and a more streamlined roofline that improve the aerodynamics.

Overall, the new Superb Estate has grown by 40 millimetres in length and 5 millimetres in height to create more internal space. Headroom has also increased and luggage capacity has grown by 30 litres over the previous model. Skoda is also offering six new colours to choose from, as well as a wide range of alloy wheel options.

The increase in space isn’t the only new thing inside either

A spacious, clean design and the new range structure define the interior of the next generation Superb Estate. The new Skoda Superb Estate features a free-standing infotainment display measuring 13 inches, alongside a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit with an optional head-up display. Other new elements include 15-watt wireless fast-charging and simultaneous ventilating of a smartphone, as well as back-friendly Ergo seats with ten pneumatically controlled massage cushions.

The Superb Estate also features the new range structure with Design Selections, themed option packages and individual options.

There are three trim levels available for the new Superb, each with different Design Selections.

The SE Technology trim includes the Loft Design Selection with optional Lounge, while the SE L trim offers the Design Selections Suite Black and Suite Cognac. The Superb Estate L&K comes with the Design Selections Suite Black and Suite Cognac, featuring specific details such as embroidered L&K lettering.

The range of choice continues when it comes to powertrains too. The new Skoda Superb Estate is available with six different powertrains with outputs ranging from 150bhp to 265bhp.

Three petrol engines, including a 1.5 TSI with mild-hybrid technology, are joined by two diesels. All engine options come with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, and the range-topping 265bhp petrol and 193bhp diesel models are also fitted with all-wheel drive as standard. There’s also an active chassis control system that comes as standard on L&K models or as an option on SE L variants.

The sixth engine option is Skoda’s efficient new plug-in hybrid fitted to the Superb Estate iV. The 1.5-litre TSI engine combines with an electric motor to provide a system output of 204bhp and an electric range of more than 62 miles. That’s an increase of around 24 miles over previous models, with the extra power coming from the new high-capacity 25.7kWh battery. The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in around 2.5 hours via an 11kW domestic wallbox. DC charging is possible up to 50kW, which means the same charging cycle takes around 25 minutes while you’re out and about.

Skoda has prioritised its customers and concentrated on designing the next generation of the Superb Estate to increase value in terms of features, comfort, technology - and, of course, space. If that sounds like the car for you, then check out our Skoda leasing offers here.
