New Aston Martin DB12 is in a class of its own

New Launches

If you're thinking about your next lease this is your chance to do something a bit special.

All you need to do is forget about your practical estates.

Forget about the comfort of a big SUV.

Forget about the flexibility of a hatchback.

It's time to think about the performance, ultra-luxury, and style that comes as standard in the brand-new Aston Martin DB12.

The DB12 heralds a new era for Aston Martin.

The car is the first of its next generation sportscars, and the world's first Super Tourer.

It's a big year for Aston Martin. The luxury marque celebrates it 110th anniversary as well as marking 75 years of the legendary DB model line. And the new DB12 is a great way to mark the occasion.

The Aston Martin DB12 features the elegant design and gorgeous lines you'd expect from a high-end car. It's been blessed with a more muscular physique to signify the power that lies beneath that long bonnet.

The all-new front-end features a larger, re-shaped radiator aperture and a re-shaped splitter, new LED headlights, and standard-fit 21-inch forged alloy wheels. There's even a new badge design to mark a new era with the DB12 being the first car to wear it.

You also get a new, ultra-luxurious interior that boasts the opulence you'd expect from an Aston combined with the latest infotainment and connected technology.

The interior design focuses on a driver centric cockpit, seamlessly integrating everyday technologies with luxury craftsmanship and materials. Hand-stitched and quilted leather and Alcantara line the cabin and give you a beautifully comfortable place to sit while you operate the contemporary display screens and interactive analogue switches.

The DB12 retains physical buttons for gear selection, drive selection, heating, and ventilation to offer the perfect blend of digital and analogue controls.

The new infotainment system controls the rest via a fully integrated multi-screen system that's compatible with both Apple and Android connections. The new 3D navigation system provides online connectivity for a smarter, quicker experience. Many of the features can also be updated and controlled via the dedicated Aston Martin app on your phone. Sound comes via an 11-speaker surround system specifically designed for the DB12 by Bowers & Wilkins.

Performance comes from a hand-built and specially tuned 4.0-litre Twin-Turbo V8 engine.

Developing a ‘mere' 670bhp, Aston Martin has created a luxury tourer that can hit 60mph in just 3.5 seconds and keep going to a top speed of over 200mph.

The power is fed through an 8-speed automatic transmission and for the first time on an Aston Martin DB model, an Electronic Rear Differential. This differential is linked to the car's Electronic Stability Control system and can go from fully open to 100% locked in a matter of milliseconds, giving you even more precise and consistent handling. The suspension and gearbox have also been tweaked to provide the ultimate in handling, stability, and mind-blowing performance.

The new DB12's core values of high-performance and ultra-luxury will be recurring features of Aston Martin's next generation of sports cars. Alongside the performance and handling, you can also enjoy the latest advanced technologies and the sublime style and exemplary craftsmanship for which the brand has long been renowned.

With first deliveries of the new Aston Martin DB12 scheduled to begin later this year we can expect to see a new benchmark for performance, driving excitement, ultra-luxury, and style. And if you ignore the fact that you can't get the kids in the back or load the boot full of DIY supplies – not to mention the inevitably enormous price tag - you could be one of the lucky few to be driving yourself around in the world's First Super Tourer.
